Administrator ,Calcutta Municipal Corporate exercising power of the Mayor during super session of the civic body.
Founder-Chairmain,Central Valution Board,West Bengal dealing with assessment and valuation of property in urban areas of West Bangal for municipal taxation.
Retired from the rank of Secretary to the Government of West Bengal on june 30,1989 as member of the West Bengal Higher Judicial Service
